Bodybuilding.com has followed up Monday’s launch of its stimulant-free pre-workout Ultimate Pre, with the second entry in its premium and advanced Elite Series, which was named yesterday in Power+BCAA. The title suggested to us that the supplement would be some sort of BCAA-based amino cocktail, although that’s not quite the case; it’s more of a strength, power, and performance product with BCAAs also in the mix.
Bodybuilding.com’s Elite Series Power+BCAA is a daily supplement bringing together six key ingredients, three of them premium components, to support and improve performance, endurance, strength, and power. It is a daily product, so it doesn’t matter as much what time of day you have it, whether it be before your workout in combination with the brand’s packed-out Ultimate Pre, post-workout, or even throughout the day.
The premium ingredients driving Power+BCAA are 1.6g of high-quality CarnoSyn beta-alanine, which gives you a total of 4.8g of beta-alanine on workout days when using Ultimate Pre, 750mg of the American-made CON-CRET creatine HCl, and 150mg of proven elevATP. The three other components filling out Bodybuilding.com’s formula are 150mg of coconut water, 2.5g of betaine, and solid 5g of BCAAs at a typical 2:1:1 ratio.
Bodybuilding.com already has its second Elite Series supplement available for purchase directly from its website for slightly less than Ultimate Pre at $34.99 for a tub of 30 servings, so when used every day as required, it will get you through an average month. The CarnoSyn-powered product stacks nicely with Ultimate Pre having the crossover in beta-alanine, and it comes in two tasty flavors with Sour Watermelon and Blue Slushie.
